Information handled by the app

Find Peace stores your breathing configuration, saved presets, preset order, active selection, and guidance preferences in local app storage. This information remains on your device except for direct syncing between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch as described below.

The current version does not provide a user account, advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or an external backend that receives your app activity.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Find Peace writes a completed breathing exercise to Apple Health as a mindful-session sample. Only completed sessions are saved. The app does not request permission to read Apple Health data and does not request or display heart rate.

Apple Health controls authorization and the resulting Health record. You can review or revoke permission in Apple's Health or Settings apps. Find Peace's developer does not receive your Apple Health data. Declining permission does not prevent you from using breathing sessions.

Paired iPhone and Apple Watch syncing

Saved presets, deletions, and preset order are exchanged directly between your paired devices using Apple's Watch connectivity frameworks. This sync does not use an external Find Peace server. Active timing and guidance preferences remain independent on each device.

Local notifications

On iPhone, Find Peace may ask for notification permission so it can provide breathing-phase prompts when the app is not active. These are local notifications generated and scheduled on your device. The app does not use remote push notifications.

Support messages

If you email findchakara@gmail.com, the message content and ordinary email metadata are handled only so we can understand and respond to your request. Your email provider and the support email provider may process that message under their own terms. Please do not include health information you do not want to send by ordinary email.

Retention and security

Local settings remain until you change them, delete a preset, or remove the app and its data. Apple Health records are controlled through Apple Health. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, and meet applicable obligations.

No method of electronic storage or communication can be guaranteed completely secure. Find Peace minimizes risk by limiting the data the app handles and by avoiding an external app backend.

Children's privacy

Find Peace is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support message, contact us so it can be addressed.

Not medical advice

Find Peace is a breathing timer and guidance tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for professional care or emergency services.

Changes and contact
