Browse setup, preset, sound, haptic, Apple Health, and Apple Watch guidance below.

What can I customize?
You can set inhale and exhale from 2–10 seconds, add holds from 0–10 seconds, and choose a total session length from 1–30 minutes. Coaching, Gong, and Haptics can also be adjusted in Customize.
How do I open Customize?
From the lotus home screen, swipe left to the Customize page. On iPhone, return by swiping right from the left edge. On Apple Watch, swipe right to return home.
How do presets work?
Breathe, Relax, and Focus are included. You can also save custom timing patterns. Select Reorder before dragging a preset; when Reorder is off, swipe left on a preset to delete it.
What syncs between iPhone and Apple Watch?
Presets, deletions, and preset order sync between paired devices. Your currently selected timing and guidance settings remain independent, so changing the active setup on one device does not silently change the other.
What does Apple Health access do?
If you allow it, Find Peace writes a completed exercise to Apple Health as a mindful session. The app does not request permission to read Apple Health data or heart rate. Declining access does not prevent breathing sessions.
How do gong and haptics behave?
Gong can mark breathing-phase changes and plays a double gong when a session finishes. Haptics guide the inhale and provide a definitive completion cue. On Apple Watch, Gong and Haptics are alternatives and cannot be enabled together.
Why does Apple Watch need Silent Mode for haptics?
watchOS can pair system sound with certain haptic feedback. Find Peace cannot change Silent Mode for you, so turn on Silent Mode before using Watch haptics if you want a vibration-only experience.
Why does my Apple Watch dim when I lower my wrist?

Dimming is normal on Apple Watch. Always On lowers brightness and refreshes the screen less often when your wrist is down; an app cannot force the display to remain at full brightness.

During an active exercise, Find Peace uses Apple's Mindfulness extended runtime session. Timing, breathing cues, haptics, and gongs continue while the display is dimmed, and the lotus calculates its position from elapsed time so it remains synchronized when the screen becomes fully active again. A Mindfulness session can remain frontmost for up to one hour.

For the best experience, confirm these settings on your Watch:

  1. Open Settings → Display & Brightness → Always On and turn Always On on.
  2. Open Settings → General → Return to Clock → Find Peace and select After 1 Hour. On some watchOS versions, Return to Clock appears under Wake Screen.

If Find Peace remains visible but dimmed, it is working as intended. If the clock replaces it, recheck Return to Clock. Apple Watch models without an Always On display will turn the screen off, but the active exercise should continue.

How do I add the Watch complication?
Edit a compatible Apple Watch face, choose a complication position, and select Find Peace. The app supports circular, rectangular, inline, and corner complication families where watchOS offers them. Tap the complication to open the app.
What data does Find Peace collect?
Find Peace has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or external app backend. Settings and presets are stored on your devices, and a completed mindful session is written to Apple Health only if you grant permission. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
